A Journey Through The Universe
A JOURNEY THROUGH THE UNIVERSE
Curated by astronomer Nalayini Davies
An exhibition of astro images gathered through human eye, camera and telescope.
“Philosophy [nature] is written in that great book which ever is before our eyes -- I mean the universe
-- but we cannot understand it if we do not first learn the language" - Galileo Galilei
That language is light. Everything we know about the universe, we have learnt by analysing light. The
word photography originates from Greek, meaning "drawing with light". This exhibition presents
artistic works drawn from light gathered through the human eye (works of Andy Cho), the camera
and (all Milky Way images, Comet, Aurora and Star Trails) the telescope (all other Solar System
images and Deep-sky images).
Running until the 31st December
