Jay LLoyd

I like my work to have simple clean lines and sometimes combine bronze with other elements such as wood, stone or natural fibres. I take pride in the hand craft nature of what I do - the process is as important to me as the final product.
Everything I make is individually cast and finished by hand to capture the warmth and beauty of bronze for everyone to enjoy.

We moved from South Africa to Waiheke in 2010 where I established my new studio and foundry.
I do a variety of work from jewellery to sculpture and my work is exhibited throughout New Zealand and is held in private collections in New Zealand, America, Europe and Asia.

I qualified as an industrial designer the 1980’s but I’m fortunate that my work has allowed me to follow a different path.
