Lu Shi

Picture
She currently lives with her partner and their two dogs residing between Great Barrier Island (her passion), Auckland and the sunny Bay of Plenty. Lulu loves travelling the world since arriving in New Zealand which helps her find inspiration from everything she sees and experiences. She is also trained as a Hairdresser to create beauty for her clients as well as sharing her art with the world.

Lu Shi was born (March 1979) and raised in Sichuan, China. She graduated from the University of Chengdu Ligong, Sichuan in a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Her entrance into art began early from childhood, attending Arts Schools and her parents supporting her newly found childhood talent. She has become open to many new directions in her art forms, mainly focusing on painting on Canvas and Rock Art but has a real passion for the Chinese Art of Zentangle and Henna. Being open to different art forms has given her a broad perspective on the arts allowing Lulu (Lu) to mix different art forms together to create new styles and unique works of art.
